Loreta Muscarella (ICC) has received an NWO XS grant of 50.000 euro for groundbreaking research into photocatalysis. In this project, indoor pollution will be tackled by developing a smart perovskite-based photocatalyst that can simultaneously degrade a wide variety of indoor pollutants by fully exploiting the indoor light.
