Description of research project: My research focuses on the thermocatalytic CO2 hydrogenation to value-added chemicals (like aromatics, olefins, methanol) over MOFs-based catalysts. The reduction of CO2 to hydrocarbons is a potential strategy to mitigate the negative effect of greenhouse gas and substitute the dwindling fossil fuels. In order to dig deeper into the structure-performance relationships, multiple in situ and ex situ characterizations should be combined.
