During her postdoctoral research, Nina focused on CO2 hydrogenation. She explored the influence of varying structural properties on the catalytic performance of Ni/SiO2 catalysts. For gaining insight into SiO2-supported systems, Nina used a multivariant approach with a special focus on X-ray absorption spectroscopy.
