Angela will focus on understanding the thermocatalytic conversion of CO2 into valuable base chemicals. She will investigate the structure-performance relationships of various supported metal catalysts as well as the influence of the composition of waste streams from the steel industry on the reaction. Her project is part of a consortium with Tata Steel, M2i and Leiden University, which is focusing on different valorization strategies for the CO2-rich waste streams of the steel industry.
