During my postdoctoral research, my focus will be on the development of new catalysts tailored specifically for the decomposition of C-C bonded plastic waste into valuable chemicals. Meanwhile, I will utilize advanced spectroscopy and microscopy techniques to delve deeper into the relationships between catalyst structure and performance, as well as elucidate the underlying reaction mechanisms involved in the chemical upcycling of waste plastics.
