Mirjam de Graaf
Mirjam de Graaf is PhD student under the supervision of Prof. Weckhuysen and Dr. Eline Hutter. Her research focuses on developing a coating for the removal of harmful and/or odorous indoor air pollutants. This can be done by using catalytic materials that can react with either indoor or outdoor light to photocatalytically degrade the pollutants. Ideally, such a system can be incorporated in a paint, which can be applied to e.g. walls or pieces of furniture.
